Webber Signs with CBU, Women’s Water Polo’s Second Signing this Week

For the second time in the last week, the Riverside City College women's water polo program has seen a start talent ink their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to attend a four-year university. Sophomore defender Nikkol Webber is the most recent product and has put pen to paper to attend Cal Baptist University beginning next Fall.

Webber was a strong contributor and a true weapon leading to Riverside's success. She played in 58 games and shined on the defensive end as seen in 90 steals. She recorded 47 steals this past season to pace her squad. She was a strong contributor on the offensive end as well by recording a career mark of 64 goals and 50 assists.

She was a menace this season by recording at least one steal in 20 games. She held a nine-game steal streak highlighted by pocketing six steals in a victory over Orange Coast. She recorded three of more steals in seven games as well.

Offensively, she scored in 19 game highlighted by a four-score outburst in a victory over San Joaquin Delta. Additionally, she scored three or more goals in seven contests and the Tigers reigned supreme in six of those games.

Webber joins teammate Caelan Loroff as she signed with the Lancers on Tuesday.
