Women’s Volleyball Drops Third-Straight Conference Match

The women's water polo team continued Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action on Wednesday night by facing off against the Cypress College Chargers on the road. The Tigers were swept for their third-straight match with set scores reading 25-16, 25-21, and 25-18.

Sophomore outside hitter Darricka Hewitt (Riverside, CA) lead the charge with six kills to go along with a dig and a block assist. Freshman outside hitter Kyndra J. Thomas (Victorville, CA) and freshman outside hitter Marcella Rodriguez (Belize City, Belize) each notched three kills.

Freshman middle Madison Bogh (Highland, CA) paced the Tigers at the net with three block assists and added two kills. Freshman setter Taylor Gardner (Colton, CA) ran the offense en route to 14 assists, while freshman libero Natalie Escher (Redlands, CA) patrolled the defensive line with a game-high 12 digs.

The Tigers (6-7, 1-4 OEC) look to return to the win's column by facing off against Santa Ana College at home this Wednesday, October 6th at 6 p.m.
