Tigers Throttle Golden West, 127-10, and Santa Ana, 131-3, in Orange Empire Conference Meet Friday

RIVERSIDE -- Winning every event, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers women's track and field team posted a pair of lop-sided Orange Empire Conference (OEC) dual meet victories last Friday afternoon (Feb. 19) at RCC's historic Arthur N. Wheelock Stadium.

Riverside defeated the visiting Golden West College (GWC) Rustlers, 127-10, and also defeated the visiting Santa Ana College (SAC) Dons, 131-3. Golden West defeated Santa Ana, 39-8.

Three Tigers won a pair of events, paced by sophomore Briana Jacklin (pictured), who won the 800m (2:40.66) and the 3,000m (11:29.91).

The Tigers will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 27, when they visit San Diego Mesa College (SDMC) for a non-conference double dual meet with the host SDMC Olympians and the Southwestern College Jaguars with a start time at 10 a.m.
