Tigers Advance to 3C2A SoCal Regional Final

Riverside City College grabbed a 5-2 victory over Glendale College in the 3C2A SoCal Regional semifinals Tuesday.

The Tigers improve to 17-2 on the year, while the Vaqueros end the year with a 19-4 mark.

Both doubles pairs of Denise Campbell/Kaden Richards and Monica Carrillo/Madison Reynosa got the Tigers off to a 2-1 start with 8-2 victories in doubles action.

Campbell, Carrillo and Richards also won their singles competition to clinch the team victory, with Richards dominating 6-0 in both sets.

Riverside takes on a familiar foe in the regional final, facing Orange Coast College on Saturday. The two teams faced each other twice earlier this year with each team taking a win.
