Riverside Battles Glendale in Nonconference Action

Riverside City College battled but dropped a 6-3 loss to Glendale College Friday afternoon to close out the regular season.

The Tigers slip to 15-2 overall, while the Vaqueros improve to 17-3 on the year and extend their winning streak to 12 straight matches.

Despite falling in doubles competition, RCC looked to shake it off in singles action. The Vaqueros only had five players, so Bridget Bradbury won by default, but Alexandra Livingston dominated her match (6-1, 6-1) to grab a point for RCC.

The Tigers shift their focus to the postseason, which begins next Thursday with the Orange Empire Conference Championship at Cypress College.
