Torrey Mateljan & Keeley Arendt Reach Semifinals at Individual State Championships

The Riverside City College women's tennis team saw the team's top duo of sophomore Torrey Mateljan and freshman Keeley Arendt travel into the second round of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Individual Championships on Friday. They won their first round match up in two sets to highlight the run.

They entered the tournament as the South's sixth seed and was matched up against the North's number three squad from American River. They cruised through the opeing round match in two sets with scores reading 6-4, 6-4.

They advanced to face the number two Southern team featuring El Camino, but ultimately fell in two set, 2-6, 3-6.
