Riverside City College couldn't get its bats hot in a 7-0 loss to No. 4-ranked Orange Coast College Thursday afternoon.
The Tigers drop to 11-22 overall, 4-10 in the Orange Empire Conference. The Pirates improve to 25-4 on the year and 13-1 in conference.
Alysse Flores had the lone hit for RCC with a hard-hit single to third base in the bottom of the second.
Jessica Gaitan threw seven strikeouts in the loss.
RCC and OCC close out the series on Friday at 2 p.m. back at the Pirates' diamond.
