Riverside Lands Top Three at SoCal Preview

The Riverside City College men's cross country team hit the road for a miniature playoff feel as the competed at the Southern California Preview on Friday morning in Bakersfield, CA. The Tigers placed third overall with three runners landing in the top-20.

The Tigers were led by sophomore Gavyn Condit once again as he placed fourth overall with a time of 20:39.74. He was a mere four seconds away from landing on the podium. It is his third-consecutive meet where he has landed in fourth place or above.

Following close behind was sophomore Raen Reyes as he placed 12th overall with a time of 21:09.60. He was six seconds off a top-10 finish. Sophomore Nicandro Rosas joined him in the top-20 with an 18th place finish with a time reading 21:18.82.

Sophomore Kyle Reden had a strong showing after earning a time of 21:25.82 to claim 22nd place, while sophomore David Rush followed in 28th place with a mark of 21:35.03.
