Tigers Win, 13-9, at Fullerton Wednesday; Host Long Beach City Friday in Annual RCC Mini Tournament

FULLERTON -- Taking the lead for good in the second quarter, the visiting Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's water polo team posted a 13-9 Orange Empire Conference (OEC) victory over the host Fullerton College Hornets Wednesday (Oct. 12).

Riverside (13-4, 2-1 OEC) was tied, 3-3, at the end of the first quarter, and led, 6-4, at halftime and 11-6 after three quarters.

RCC sophomore utility player Kyle Christian (Riverside / M.L. King HS '15) had four goals, sophomore driver Lazar Raca (Belgrade, SERBIA / Sports School '15) had three goals, two assists and three steals, and sophomore center Jonah Saenz (Riverside / Riverside Poly HS '15) had threegoals and one assist.

Freshman goalkeeper Kristopher McVeigh (Riverside / Riverside Poly HS '16) -- who is pictured -- had two saves and three steals, and sophomore goalie Dustin Shaw had one save.

Riverside will host the Long Beach City College Vikings on Friday, Oct. 14, in the annual RCC Mini Tournament in a 12:30 p.m. game.
