Tigers Water Poloists Lose, 17-8, at Orange Coast Wednesday (Oct. 1)

COSTA MESA -- Watching the hosts pull away in the second half, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's water polo team dropped a 17-8 Orange Empire Conference (OEC) decision to the host Orange Coast College (OCC) Pirates Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 1).

Riverside (5-5 overall, 2-1 OEC) trailed only 6-4 at halftime, but then the Pirates (4-5, 2-0 OEC) outscored the Tigers, 8-2, in the third quarter and 3-2 in the fourth stanza.

The Tigers will return to action on Friday, Oct. 10, in their Riverside City College Invitational.
