RCC H20 Polo Defeates Fullerton College

In a highly anticipated Orange Empire Conference game, the RCC men's water polo team defeated Fullerton College by a score of 10-7 at the Riverside Aquatic Center Wednesday afternoon.

The Tigers seemed to control the match from the early stages of the game and continuously throughout as RCC scored first, ending the first quarter with a 4-2 lead. Once again, it was the Riverside defense that proved dominant as they held the high-powered offense of Fullerton College to 4 goals in the first half, going into the break with an 8-4 lead and continued to frustrate their opponent in the second half while allowing on three goals en route to a 10-7 victory.

In the match, Sophomore's Christopher Forte and Brody Wood led the Tigers with 5 and 4 goals, respectively. In the goal, Sophomore Nicho Morabito was commanding with 23 save.

With the win, RCC improves their record to 11-5; 3-1 in conference.
