Riverside Routs Santa Ana & Santiago Canyon Friday in OEC Action

RIVERSIDE --  Topping both of its opponents by convincing scores, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's track and field team defeated the Santa Ana College (SAC) Dons and the Santiago Canyon College (SCC) Hawks in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) triangular meet Friday afternoon (Feb. 20) at historic Arthur N. Wheelock Field.

RCC defeated Santa Ana, 144-5, and RCC also defeated Santiago Canyon, 142-8. 

The Tigers will have a big track meet against Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside on Saturday, March 7.  "It will be the first time in RCC or UCR's history that they have met in a track meet," said RCC head men's track and field coach Jim McCarron.
