The Tigers had four guys under 35 seconds in the 300 meter run.  Just'n Thymes (34.56) and Sterling Winston (34.64).  Luis Gutierrez won both the 600 meter (1:20.43) and the 1 mile (4:19.26).  John Guzman took the 2 mile easily running 9:23.81.  Jordon Morris (8.33) and Chris Navarro (8.40) went 1-2 in the 60 hurdles.  Chris Navarro also won the javelin with a toss of 171'3".  The Tigers had five guys go under 56 seconds in the 400IH led by Jonte Turner's 53.28 (see picture).  Mt. Sac won the 4x100 in 41.41, and the Tigers won the 4x400 in 4:15.  Aaron Johnson won the high jump with a leap of 6'2".  Mt. Sacs Reed White took the pole vault with a leap of 15'1".  Moises Ramos threw 49'8" in the shot put and 164'5 in the hammer to win both events.  Ryan Kent threw 142'10" in the discuss to win.  "Starting this annual rivalry against Mt. Sac in dual meet form is great for the sport.  Mt. Sac has a great program and competing head to head against them early in the season creates an exciting and competitive environment for the student-athletes.  I like the way our guys competed today.  They were prepared for great competition and they executed well." Coach McCarron  The Tiger have a busy week next week.  On Wednesday RCC with have its 7th annual dual meet against Cal State Long Beach, and on Friday the Tigers take on Saddleback.
