Both Tiger Tennis Teams To Host First Round of SoCal Regional
Both Riverside City College men's and women's tennis teams will host the first round of the 3C2A SoCal Regional on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
The Tiger women picked up the No. 3 seed in the regional and will host five-seed College of the Canyons. RCC goes into the postseason boasting a 15-2 record, while the Cougars sit 13-6. The two teams have not squared off against each other this year yet.
Riverside's men grabbed the fourth seed and will host Santa Barbara City College. The Tigers sit at 16-3 on the year, while the Vaqueros head into the tournament with a 5-6 mark. RCC and SBCC met earlier this season with the Tigers coming out on top 6-3.
The winners of each round will advance to the second round of the regional, which will be held April 16 at the highest seed's home court.
