Men's Tennis Rolls Grossmont

It was another sweep for the Riverside City College men's tennis team on Tuesday afternoon as they handled the Grossmont College Griffins by the final score of 9-0. With the victory, the Tigers have now rattled off four-straight wins with three coming via sweep.

Freshman Kayne Trustfull (Amsterdam, Netherlands) paced the Tigers as the top singles player and raked in an easy 6-1, 6-0 victory. Freshman number two Thomas Pidoux (Perpignon, France) followed with a 6-0, 6-0 win, while sophomore number six Brandon Moerer (Riverside, CA) earned an impressive 6-1, 6-0 win.

Trusfull and Pidoux teamed up as the top doubles team and defeated their opponents in straight sets with the score reading 8-4. Freshman tandem Elie-Noe Nicolay (Luxembourg, Belgium) and Miles Clark (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) followed with an 8-2 win.

The Tigers (4-0) will hit the road on Thursday, February 8th for a match against San Diego City College at 2 p.m.
