Men’s Tennis Wins Third-Straight Match with Ease

The Riverside City College men's tennis team continued to roll in a non-conference matchup against the Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers cruised to a 9-0 victory that featured all straight set victories in singles play, while dominating the doubles.

Freshman Kayne Trustfull (Amsterdam, Netherlands) reigned supreme as the top singles player by defeating his opponent 6-0, 6-1. RCC's number two freshman Thomas Pidoux (Perpignon, France) followed with a victory by the final count of 6-1, 6-0. All other singles won by the final score of 6-0, 6-0.

Freshman tandem Miles Clark (Ranch Cucamonga, CA) and Elie-Noe Nicolay (Luxenbourg, Belgium) dominated their double match by the final score of 8-0. Sophomore duo Thierry van Os (Spijkenisse, Netherlands) and Brandon Moerer (Riverside, CA) followed with the same winning count of 8-0.

Riverside remains undefeated with two victories coming at the score of 9-0.

The Tigers (3-0) will return to action on Tuesday, February 6th and host the Grossmont College Griffiths at 2 p.m.
