Saddleback Tops Host Riverside, 6-3, Tuesday

RIVERSIDE -- Freshman Stanislaus Bedrune won at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles (along with partner Victor Iove), but it wasn't enough as the host Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's tennis team lost, 6-3, to the visiting Saddleback College Gauchos Tuesday afternoon (Mar. 8) in an Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match at RCC's Fran Bushman Tennis Courts.

Riverside (7-5 overall, 3-2 OEC) is ranked No. 7 in SoCal. Saddleback improved to 9-5 overall, 2-3 OEC.

Bedrune, who is pictured on the right (along with Iove), hails from Ventabren, FRANCE.

RCC returns to action on Thursday, Mar. 10, when it hosts the Irvine Valley College Lasers in a OEC match beginning at 2 p.m.
