Riverside Routs Visiting Mt. San Jacinto, 8-1, Tuesday
RIVERSIDE -- Winning all three doubles matches, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's tennis team won its fourth consecutive match with an 8-1 non-conference home victory over the Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) Eagles Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 16) at RCC's Fran Bushman Tennis Courts.
Riverside (4-3 overall) led, 3-0, after the three doubles matches and then won Nos. 6 (by default), 3, and 1 singles matches to lead for good..
Mt. San Jacinto fell to 1-5 overall. The Eagles are 1-1 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.
Riverside returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. when it hosts Hope International University in a non-conference dual match.
