Riverside Tops County Rival Mt. San Jacinto, 6-3, Wednesday
RIVERSIDE -- Julian Sciapno received the "ECO BOOST AWARD" by completing the first match of the day with no waste -- environmentally friendly -- with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles as the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's tennis team topped the Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles, 6-3, in a nonconference match last Wednesday (Feb. 18) at RCC's Fran Bushman Tennis Courts.
Riverside (4-3 overall) will begin Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action on Tuesday, Feb. 24, when it hosts the Cypress College Chargers in a 2 p.m. match.
