Riverside Snaps Three-match Losing Streak with a 5-4 Home Win over Glendale Thursday

RIVERSIDE -- Antoine Voison spotted his opponent a first-set advantage, then roared back to win the final two sets at No. 3 singles as the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's tennis team edged the Glendale College Vaqueros, 5-4, in a nonconference match Thursday (Feb. 12) at RCC's Fran Bushman Tennis Courts.

Voison won, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, over Oleg Samonian.

Riverside (3-3 overall), which snapped a three-match losing streak with the victory, will next play on Wednesday, Feb. 18, when it hosts its county rivals, the Mt. San Jacinto College Eagles in a nonconference match at 2 p.m.
