RIVERSIDE -- Finishing the first round of Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action with a win, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's tennis team posted an 8-1 win over the Saddleback College Gauchos Thursday afternoon (March 6) at RCC's Fran Bushman Courts.

"Sophomore Danny Garcia (Riverside / Arlington HS) continues to look solid in the No. 1 singles and doubles spot, turning in a dominating performance against a traditionally powerful Orange County opponent," said RCC head men's tennis coach Jim Elton.
The Gauchos' (6-5, 3-2 OEC) only credit sign came at No. 4 singles when Ryan Mariano delevered a 6-1, 6-1 win over RCC freshman Patrick Stetco (Redlands / Redlands HS).
