Riverside Continues Strong Performances at 3C2A Championship

Riverside City College kept competing on the second day of the 3C2A Championship.

The Tigers opened with a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, posting a time of one minute, 33.09 seconds. Riverside followed with a fourth-place finish in the 800-yard free relay, finishing in 6:58.77.

Zekiah Serrano grabbed third in the 200-yard free after clocking in at 1:40.98 for his fastest time of the year.

Lennon Franklin finished eighth overall in the 100-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 50.39 seconds.

Off the diving board, Vincent Rhoulhac took sixth overall for his second medal of the meet, finishing with a score of 175.25.

As a team, Riverside sits in sixth place overall with 173 points, just three points off a top-five finish.

The Tigers close out the State Championship Meet on Saturday, with prelims beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the last finals session getting underway at 4:00 p.m.
