Tigers Men's Swimmers Win Decisively at Palomar-hosted Waterman Pentathlon Friday

SAN MARCOS -- In their first meet of the season, The Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's swimming team won in decisive fashion in the Waterman Pentathlon at Palomar College on Friday (Feb. 5) as five RCC swimmers finished in the top seven, including overall meet champion, freshman Maxence Bouvier who won 4 of his 5 events.

Among Bouvier's victories, a :21.74 in the 50-yard freestyle and :51.64 in the 100 Individual Medley (in order, backstroke-breaststroke-butterfly-free).

The other top five finishers for the Tigers included Adrien Deloffre, Alex Durham, Garret Shimko and Justin Rohn.

The Tigers will be idle from competition until Friday, Feb. 19, when they take part in the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Multidual Meet #1, hosted by Golden West College in Huntington Beach.
