Men’s Golf Places Third at Cuyamaca Classic

The Riverside City College men's golf team shared the trophy last week and was slightly edged due to a card off. Despite sharing the top spot, the Tigers looked to keep the positive momentum going at the Cuyamaca Classic last Wednesday. They did just that by landing on the podium with a third place finish.

The Tigers carded a final team score of 378 which was one stroke above their previous week's total. The Tigers featured three golfers that landed in the 70s with sophomore Joran Reynoso leading the way.

The sophomore swingers notched a one-under at 71. He penciled three birdies on the day and recorded only two holes over par.

Freshman Yazar Aung landed one over at 73. He notched consecutive birdies on the 9th and 10th holes, followed by two more birdies on the 17th and 18th holes.

Sophomore Jordan Medlock and Theoren Delehanty each carded a 77, while freshman tandem Brian Bashaw and Pho Zan rounded out the scores by each recording 80s.
