Tigers Finish Fifth (385) at Navy Course Last Wednesday; Currently Fifth in OEC Standings

CYPRESS -- Shooting a collective team score of 385, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's golf squad finished fifth in the latest Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match which was played at the Navy Golf Course last Wednesday (Mar. 2), hosted by Cypress College.

Finishing ahead of Riverside were Santiago Canyon (367, first), followed by Cypress and Orange Coast (378, tied for second), and Saddleback (382, fourth place). Irvine Valley (415) was sixth.

Contributing to RCC's team score were sophomore Colin McNie (Temecula / Chaparral HS '14) -- who is pictured -- fired a 75, followed by freshman Nick Bridge (Riverside / Norte Vista HS '15), who shot 76. Sophomore Paul Bradvica (Riverside / Notre Dame HS '14), freshamn Jordan Sams (Lake Arrowhead / Rim of the World HS '10) and freshman Everett Najera (Corona / Corona HS '15) each shot a 78. Freshman Sean Jay (San Bernardino / Cajon HS '14) shot a 79.

Riverside and the rest of the OEC members return to OEC action on Wednesday, Mar. 9, at El Prado Golf Course in Chino Hills.
