Riverside Finishes Third at Eagle Classic Last Tuesday

SAN JACINTO -- Gaining a third-place finish among Orange Empire Conference (OEC) members and sixth overall, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers men's golf squad is currently tied for fourth place in the OEC standings after its latest competition, the Eagle Classic hosted by Mt. San Jacinto College (MSJC) last Wednesday (Feb. 17).

Riverside shot a collective team score of 393. Orange Coast finished first among OEC members with a 381, followed by Saddleback (390). Cypress (409) and Irvine Valley (422) were fourth and fifth respectively.

Overall, the Tigers finished sixth out of 15 teams. Host Mt. San Jacinto won the overall event with a team score of 376. 

Individually, sophomore Paul Bradvica led the Tigers with a one-over-par 73. Freshman Nick Bridge (Riverside / Norte Vista HS) also had a solid round, firing a 76.

Riverside returns to action on Monday, Feb. 29, when it hosts the Riverside Invitational at Victoria Country Club in Riverside. Tee time is 11 a.m.
