The Tigers are currently ranked 14th in Southern California after beginning the season ranked seventh in the state, according to the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCMBCA). RCC is one of four Orange Empire Conference (OEC) squads to bust into the top-15 in Southern California (No. 4 Copper Mountain, No. 9 Fullerton, No. 10 Santiago Canyon).

Riverside relies heavily on their guard play with sophomore tandem Brae Ivey (Huntington Beach, CA) and Andre Wilson (Colton, CA) pacing the offense. The duo acts as a one-two punch in the offensive arsenal with Ivey averaging 21.3 points-per-game and Wilson averaging 15.1 points-per-game. Ivey has landed in double-digit scoring in nine-straight games with a season-high coming in a victory over Moorpark in their season opener. Wilson, who was sidelined for two games with a minor injury, has matched Ivey's offensive strength by earning a double-digit points tally in every game he has participated in.

Freshman forward Jordan Robinson (Riverside, CA) handles the paint play by nearly averaging a double-double so far this season. He is currently averaging 14.4 points-per-game and 8.9 rebounds-per-contest. He is the team's best shot blocker as well by almost earning an average of one block per contest.
