Bio

Mustafa Johnson enters his third season as the offensive lineman coach for the Tigers. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and educational leadership at Florida Atlantic University.

Johnson, an RCC alumni, coached an offensive line that paved the way for a pair of 1,000+ rushers during his first season. This accomplishment led to five offensive lineman signing National Letters of Intent (NLI) to attend Division I programs.

Johnson was a two-year starter for RCC during the 2010 and 2011 seasons and played under current Head Coach Tom Craft. He was a two-time All-Conference selection as a center and was named a team captain. He played an integral role in the Tigers undefeated season in 2011.

After his two-year stint at RCC, Johnson signed with Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2013. While at FAU, Johnson was a two-year starter, a team captain, and was named the Most Valuable Offensive in 2013. Additionally, Johnson was an All-Conference USA (C-USA) selection and recipient of C-USA's Spirit Award.

He began his coaching career at FAU as a defensive line graduate assistant coach in the spring of 2014 and was an offensive line graduate assistant coach at the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015. Furthermore, Johnson helped coach the offensive line at RCC in 2014.

He is married to Jennifer Lynn Johnson and the couple has a daughter, Addison Melissa.
