Bio

Brendan Brooks enters his first year as an assistant coach for the Tigers. Brendan is a southern California native playing for Gary Parcell at Norco High School, where he was selected to the “All League” team 4 years as a shortstop. He then continued his baseball career at UC Irvine under legendary coach Mike Gillespie for the 2018 & 2019 seasons. During his freshman season he led the team in batting average hitting .308, earning an honorable mention to the all-conference team. He finished his collegiate career playing at UNLV under Stan Stolte for the 2020 & 2021 seasons. While at UNLV, Brendan was selected as a First Team All-Conference Shortstop for the Mountain West, leading the Rebels in on-base percentage and walks. He was also selected as the Student Athlete Academic Champion during his time in Las Vegas.
Brendan graduated in 2021 from UNLV Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He also went on to earn a Master of Science in Cybersecurity in 2022.
