Beach Volleyball Snags One Win in Loss to Santa Ana

The Riverside City College beach volleyball team played host to the Santa Ana College Dons in Orange Empire Conference (OEC) action on Friday morning in its first home match of the season. The Tigers displayed signs of strength, but ultimately fell 4-1.

The fourth pairing featuring freshman duo Kelly Moore and Kaylee Torres highlighted Riverside's efforts by completing a three set, come from behind victory. They dropped the opening set 16-21, but roared back to win the final two sets 21-12 and 15-4.

Freshman duo Paris Toaetolu and Katie Moore were slotted at the fifth position and grabbed the first set win at 22-20, but failed to complete the victory with the final set scores reading 18-21, 8-15.

The top three matches all ended in two sets.
