Tigers Lose, 4-1, at Irvine Valley Friday as Six-match Win Streak Ends
IRVINE -- Watching its six-match win streak go by the boards, the Riverside City College (RCC) Tigers women's beach volleyball team lost a 4-1 Orange Empire Conference (OEC) match to the host Irvine Valley College (IVC) Lasers Friday afternoon (Apr. 7).
The RCC frosh tandem of Delaney Beck and Jazmyne Gonzales, playing at No. 5 doubles, won in three sets, 15-21, 21-12, 15-12.
RCC is guided by second-year RCC head women's beach volleyball coach Jamie Hofman, who is pictured.
The Tigers will next play on Friday, Apr. 14, when they host both the Cypress College Chargers and the Fullerton College Hornets in an OEC twinbill beginning at 10:30 a.m. at RCC's designated home court, Pearce Sports Center in San Bernardino.
