RCC Athletics & ASRCC Host 2nd Annual Finish on the 50 – 5K Run/Walk
The Riverside City College athletic department and the Associated Students of Riverside City College (ASRCC) teamed up this past weekend to host the 2nd Annual Finish on the 50 – 5K Run/Walk to promote the upcoming athletic season. All profits raised are used to help support our student-athletes.
The event is designed to connect the athletic department to the community and strengthen ties between community members, locals, RCC faculty, students staff and many more. Attendance was boosted from a year ago with approximately 50 people running the course.
The course was designed to run around numerous facilities on campus including Wheelock Stadium and Evans Sports Complex. Multiple vendors were in attendance such as Vital Proteins, T-3 Fitness, Lucky Feet and Magnolia Heating & Cooling.
All participants received a t-shirt, medal, free admission to the football game, free food at the game and free parking for the entire game. The top runners received athletic gear, Blenders Eyewear sunglasses and recognition at the football game.
