Former RCC Coach & Student Athlete Aaron Goodman Passes at Age 45
It is with heavy hearts that the Riverside City College athletic department mourns the loss of former coach and student-athlete Aaron Goodman.
Goodman was a talented athlete at RCC while playing football and track & field from 1991-92. After playing for the Tigers, he transitioned into a coaching role. He coached the track and field sprints unit under former head coach Scott Parks from 2000-2005. Additionally, he coached football in 2001 under Barry Meier.
Goodman had the ability to shape quality athletes. He coached Hall of Fame runner Terica Ted and she remembered a particular philosophy he would preach to his athletes.
"I have one and only one ambition in life – to be the best. What else is there?"
Goodman was survived by his son Aaron Goodman Jr. Please help support the Goodman Family by donating to the Funeral Costs for Aaron Goodman.
