RCC Swimming & Diving Student Athlete Hannah Krolik Passes Away

The community of Riverside and the Riverside City College Athletic department's hearts weigh heavy mourning the passing of RCC swimming & diving student-athlete Hannah Krolik. Hannah passed away on Wednesday, August 1.

"Hannah was an independent and driven young women," said Head Coach Doug Finfrock. "She was truly a pleasure to coach and had the opportunity to play water polo and swim at a four-year university next year."

Krolik transferred to Riverside after competing at Mt. San Antonio College in 2017. She was a swimmer and a water polo athlete, but only participated in swimming for the Tigers.

As a student-athlete at RCC, Krolik swam in the Orange Empire Conference (OEC) Championships this past May and reeled in a trio of top-15 finishes. Her strongest mark came in the 200 Back with a ninth-place showing at a time of 2:36.08. She also placed 13th in the 100 Back (1:14.62) and 14th in the 100 Fly (1:16.25).
