Women's OEC Championships starts with the Heptathlon

The Lady Tigers had a great start to the Orange Empire Conference when they competed in the heptathlon this past week on March 8th and 9th.  Valentina Sanabria(Martin Luther King HS) won the conference championship with a score of 3761pts.  The rest of the Lady Tigers continued the success that Riverside has experienced in the heptathlon with a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th place finish.  The other Tigers to score were Diamond Scott (Vista Del Lago HS), Shyann Thompson (Grand Terrace HS) and TiJanique King (Long Beach Wilson HS) respectively. 

The Tigers are back in action this weekend at the Ben Brown Invitational.
