Bio

Tony Lopez enters his third year as an assistant coach for the Tigers after a brief hiatus. 

From 2020-22, Lopez joined Waldorff University as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator prior to serving two years as RCC's assistant coach. During his first stint with the Tigers and his two years at Waldorf, he aided in the development of three North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Gold Glove Winners, coached nine players to NSAA First and Second Team honors, and developed Co-First Team Catchers in the Orange Empire Conference in 2019.

Lopez played at Cal Poly Pomona under former Tiger and current Head Coach Randy Betten in 2015. he is the youngest in a family of five. Father Francisco, Mother Beatriz, Sisters Magali and Gladys. Proud uncle and mentor to my nieces and nephew.
